Moshe Mordechelewitz Conversation with Lea Dror-Batalion
Translated from Hebrew
Moshe: I see David Borenstein in the second row from the top. If you look from the right to left . the sixth person. ( I think this is not correct since David son's Josi and Akiva could not find him in the picture.

There was another driver from Czechoslovakia. He is standing in the third row to the left. David Borenstein was always sitting next to him and spending time with him. He should know his name.

Czech driver

Lea: Where there girls in the school?
Moshe: There were a few girls. The school was a professional school and did not have courses for girls. I don't remember but there were a few , not many.
Lea: From where were the boys?
Moshe: They were all organized before in kibbutzim from Betar - in Plugot.
Lea: At which places?
Moshe: 30-20 Places. In every DP camp there were Plugot.   The Pluga at the school in Darmstadt was called Masada. There was written in the school "Masada wil not fall again" It was like a slogan for the Pluga. When you entered the school there was a sign.
Lea: Who decided on the name and slogan?
Moshe:The leaders of betar .
Lea: Who chose the name "Masada"?
Moshe: when I cam, they already had the name. Your father was there a few month before me. when I came the school was already established. I becam his right man. the idea of the school was your fathers. I came to teach. In Darmstadt was the only betar scchool(?). We wanted to teach Betarists.
